I've ridden a bicycle 18 miles outdoors in Minneapolis this year. Let's not make a big deal of it. Alley photo provided for John Wroblewski's benefit.
A triple homicide in Minneapolis should remind us that we still live in a city. In Chicago we keep our head on a swivel but people here roll their eyes when you refer to the 'hood'.
I still need to ride MTC buses for a 12 hour period. Just one of those things a city boy would find amusing.
Let's hear it for Miss Debbie who saved 30 dollars with her coupons at the grocery store last night!
You see that snow in my alley? Well some of it will be there in April.
I'm rooting for Alabama tonight in spite of the fact that Nick Saban is a world renowned douche nozzle.

do you ever ride outside of Mpls city limits? Say, Richfield?
Shit, I rode around the block today and I was worn out. Richfield streets are always better plowed than Mpls.
richfield was plowed three times on christmas before they sent the plows out in mpls, but then again the first big storm they couldn't get the sidewalk on 66th plowed for three days and it still sucks for riding, i like to head north to mpls when i bike though, they have lakes
douche nozzle? I like it, I may use that in the future.
Credit for douche nozzle goes to Smithers and no he isn't one. The problem with all of Richfield's curbside sidewalks (66th, Portland, Penn, Nicollet) is that they are all plowed by Hennepin County while those sidewalks are plowed by Richfield. Richfield plows the sidewalks punctually but then the County fills them back up with slop.
don't the Metro Mobility vans have plows on them?
Next he'll be driving over the road. The white line is the lifeline.
For a good laugh, you should bring Jordan with you for a 12 hour MTC ride...his eyes would be as big as saucers and he would be clinging to you like a little girl!!!! It would be good for him!!
