Friday Spotlight
This is my buddy Benita. Debbie took a picture of her with her medal won at the National Speedskating Championships on quads which are regular 4 wheel roller skates. I love Benita. She's never in a bad mood and she's part of why the Black Dog Time Trial is such an awesome event.

You can't hide...
Are you hiding in your little cubicle?
Are you hoping the boss won't come around with some bullshit project that will benefit his/her standing in the company and won't do shit for you?
Has the old lady called you twice and texted you 3 times because you ignored her call?
Are you counting the minutes to lunch when you can sit with your co-workers and talk about WORK?
Answer yes to any one of these questions and you'll confirm that you're deeply entrenched in the Matrix.
Come with me if you want to live...

Don't call a pitch out!
Here we are again with almost nothing to write. This is my nephew Paul who knows that pictures in my hands are dangerous.
Ran into the rudderless ship that is the Hiawatha Cyclery Saturday morning ride which was nice.
My lawnmower is in pieces in my neighbor's garage (he fixes them) thanks to fucking Rosenberg. Hurl, please insert a scathing remark about the prick.
I missed the bike racing at the Capitol to visit my buddy at the County's Detox Palace. The highlight of that was some guy yelling 'I'm not here' when a phone rang. He was glad to see me. I can't recommend the coffee.
Well, my attention span is wavering. See you in church.

19:12, no not 19 days you idjit
A sidewalk preacher on Chicago and Franklin told me Jesus will help me prosper at anything I set my mind to. I tried pretty hard at Black Dog on a windy night that doesn't really suit me. Give me a tropical dew point night when my knees warm up getting out of the car. My last race was 4 weeks ago when I rode a 20:02 on my cross bike with the flat bar. I pulled out the Scott Plasma last night and took 50 seconds off my last race.
I'm now only 44 seconds off my personal best from 2 years ago so the goal is to establish a new best this summer.
As always, thanks to Mrs who makes race night flow so smoothly.

Sometimes a man meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it
I broke the seat on the clown bike with my fat ass and all the goofball riding I do. Have only ridden my 3100 dollar carbon fiber bike about 250 miles compared to 5000 miles on the 200 dollar clown bike.
Dogs walked and soon they will be off in dream land.
Breakfast is still up in the air. Chicken and waffles? Hmmmm, that sounds good, doesn't it?
I wish it would rain so I could mow the grass.

Fridays
We made it to Friday although it was probably less stressful for me than some of you.
Parole Officer Tuffy paid me a visit yesterday to check on me.
The Bicycle Film Festival is this weekend and Hurl has outlined which films are a must see.
Let's fire our 9 mm's into the air for Mrs who is one hell of a nice girl.
Have a good weekend and enjoy the hot weather cuz it's July 10th already.

Some bridges you cross and some bridges you burn
I know of at least 2 people who like when I use this media to express myself.
If I tried to take a nice picture of a dog or a friend or a sandwich with my camera phone it would come out all blurry. But pull the MF out of my pocket when I'm mowing the lawn and take a picture and it turns out Sports Illustrated quality.
Poor Kiah was a nervous wreck last night because of the fireworks. The drugs the vet sold us to calm her jangled nerves didn't do shit.
Dragger ride through a semi Hopkins loop was fun. That tandem is making some curious GD noises and I think she may drop soon.
The unemployment tree bore fruit last week. I need to report this news to Duane.
That's it...get out of here.
